Founder and Operator

PairOps was founded by Marlon Coburn.

Over more than two decades in senior leadership roles, he has worked inside organizations navigating growth, operational complexity, and major transitions.

Most recently he served as President and CEO of THC Design, where he led restructuring efforts, modernized the company's operating systems, and expanded the organization beyond California.

PairOps grew out of that experience, recognizing that many companies don't need more analysis. They need experienced operators who can step in and help move the business forward.

How our operators work

They think like company builders, not advisors.

They work inside the organization, focused on the systems, structures, and decisions that determine whether the business can operate consistently at scale.

The goal is not a report or a set of recommendations. The goal is progress.

Operators step into situations where the work is real and the stakes are high, whether that means stabilizing a business in transition, standing up a new operation, or carrying a critical initiative across the finish line.

Operational restructuring and stabilization

When companies face financial or operational pressure, an experienced operator works with the leadership team to stabilize the business, restructure operations, and rebuild what needs rebuilding.

Operating Principles

Execution over analysis

Companies rarely lack strategy. More often they lack the operational capacity to get the work done.

Operators inside the work

Our operators work inside the organization, not outside it.

Momentum over recommendations

The goal is not reports or advisory work. The goal is operational progress.

Have a situation worth discussing?

Most companies don't need more advice. They need operators who can help move the work forward.
